A performance about hurt and being hurt
How is it different? – this was the title of the performance young people from Odorheiu Secuiesc presented on Saturday, the 24th of February in the Cultural House from Odorheiu Secuiesc, within the framework of Caritas Alba Iulia`s Youth for Change project.
The production was created by the Glass Figures student theater group and a group of young people from Cristuru Secuiesc, led by Bekő Fóri Zenkő actor and youth mentor, Tímea Vincze puppeteer and Ervin Ruszuly choreographer. The performance is about acceptance, exclusion, and being excluded. Its main feature is a song, the lyrics of which were born from the creators` personal histories of hurt – nearly one hundred offenses – and the melody of which was composed by the high school students themselves. During the workshops and performance young people sought to answer the question of how they differ from their fellow human beings. And it turned out: in nothing.
