Another garbage collection in Kishilib from Ojdula

On 10th of October youth romany people from “Kishilib” gathered to collect garbage again to make their residential area clearer and more beatiful. Within the framework of United Networks project we organized the second time garbage collection. First time, in April we tried to implicate the whole community, this time we asked only the youth people to join us and 20 youth people participated in this activity. We met them in teh center of “Kishilib” at the place called “Porond”. 

We created small groups with whom in a few hours we collected 10 large pouch full of garbage from the residential areas’ streets and nearby, the Mayor’s office offered the garbages transport.

The groups were divided into different areas of Kishilib so we finished the work in every little street in a few hours. In addition we tried to educate them so we discussed about their responsability about keeping the area clear and the consequnces of throwing the trash on the stree. 

In conclusion we can say that it was a successful occasion and we could work in a really good and efficient way with these young romany people.
