Creating encounters between generations and intergenerational learning
Creating encounters between generations and intergenerational learning
Munich, Germany 2022.05.03 – 07
The trainings organized within our project financed by Erasmus+ have come to their last stop. 4 of our colleagues participated in the 3-day workshop entitled ” Creating encounters between generations and intergenerational learning” organized by our project partner, the Adult Education Department of the Catholic Archdiocese of Freising and Munich.
The participants could take part in several interactive programs such as: innovative social projects, involving refugees in home and elderly care, good practices for cooperation between the elderly and younger generations. The goals of the project are to expand educational opportunities in courses for different types of seniors, as well as to share experiences, know-how and good practices between the partner organizations. Other goals include the development of innovative methodological training curricula, teaching and training methodologies for staff, trainers and volunteers working with older groups. Our main goal is to develop the competence of the methodological offer, instructors and staff who are able to motivate and inspire the elderly, thereby improving their mental, physical, social and creative abilities through various development programs.
