In 2025, Caritas Alba Iulia provided charitable services to close to 12.000 people in the counties of Hunedoara, Alba, Mureș, Harghita and Covasna, with 619 employees and 254 active volunteers. Among our staff we count nurses, registered nurses, assistants, home caregivers, social workers, psychologists, educators, psychopedagogues, social pedagogues, specialists in movement competence development, senior dance instructors, youth mentors, baby massage instructors, project writers and managers, accountants, human resources managers, communication and public relations specialists, volunteer coordinators, administrative and logistics officers, chefs, kitchen assistants, receptionists, and administrators, who, together with our
lawyer, our spiritual director and the leadership, work hand in hand to support those most in need.

In order for all of us to carry out high-quality work, our organization places great emphasis on continuous professional development. This is made possible through various workshops, seminars, courses, professional exchange programs and conferences. It`s important that, alongside our daily work, we also maintain our inner balance; therefore, we renew ourselves through Holy Masses, spiritual retreat days, weekly reflections, as well as through the discussions of the Docat program on faith, religion and love.
