They declared war to dementia

According to the current state of modern science, dementia is irreversible, however, its progression can be slowed. One of the ways of delaying it is lifelong learning, and what’s better to learn than dancing? Csilla Balázs, a senior-dance instructor proved that dance can be taught to anyone, regardless of age. Her students, women from Mădăraș, showed us that the only thing you need to do is to have fun. The event at the Community Center in Lăzarea attracted many visitors, even from the nearby villages, and the hall have never seen this much applause and laughter.

The 20th Volunteer Camp of Caritas Alba Iulia has been organised by the workers of the association and has been made possible by the Local Government of Lăzarea and the support of Harghita County Counsil and Covasna County Council. We would also like to thank the businesses and civil organizations that have contributed to the camp: End-Ibo, The Bakery from Ditró, Odorest, Coffee Community “Vekker”, Fapicom, Csíki Csipsz, The Association of Entrepreneurs “Arbor”, Smart Safety, Caritas Logistics, Community Center Lăzarea, Guild of Volunteer Firefighters Lăzarea, The Transylvanian-Hungarian Astronomy Association.
